Young Minds: exploring AI and robotics.
A planned learning programme that helps young people explore robotics and AI by making, questioning and experimenting.
From watching technology to understanding it.
Young Minds is being developed around an idea: children should have room to investigate how intelligent machines work, what they can do and where human judgement matters.
The intended experience combines guided building, simple programming and discussion. The emphasis is on curiosity, collaboration and explaining what happened when an experiment did not go to plan.
Programme development is underway. Registering interest is an enquiry, not an enrolment or a payment. Dates, age groups, locations and fees will be shared when confirmed.
Notice
Explore sensors, movement and the difference between a programmed response and an adaptive system.
Make
Try a small challenge, change an instruction and see how the behaviour changes.
Question
Discuss mistakes, data, fairness and when a person should stay in charge.
For parents, schools and community groups.
Tell us the learners’ broad age range, your location and the setting you have in mind. That will help shape an appropriate format.
Before any programme opens for enrolment, families and organisers will need clear information about supervision, facilitator requirements, accessibility, equipment, privacy and participation arrangements.
Please do not send children’s names, photographs or personal records with an initial enquiry.
